Which is worse Jamie Oliver or Rachael Ray's Pho??

Its worth noting Rachel Ray has never been a chef or even a line cook(she did hold a non-cooking position in a restaurant). She then managed to land a small cooking program teaching people(typically housewives) who didn't know how to cook incredibly simplified recipes to learn how to cook. This "simple and easy" focused style is basically her trademark... but it also means that she doesn't teach people how to actually cook what the recipe claims to be. I know this story because I grew up in the area she's from and learned it from other people who had been there longer than me.

I'm totally wordless. The entire video was a jumpscare compilation to me

For people trying to attempt Pho. If you're new to the recipe, please avoid thick beef strips/slabs like in this video. The main reason Pho's broth is able to cook the meat well enough just by pouring on it hot is because the meat is supposed to be really thin, almost thin like bacon strips. If you use thick meat cuts, you may end up leaving bacteria or parasites on the meat that are usually killed simply via cooking the meat properly instead. If your meat cuts are too thick, please take effort and slice them as thin as you can for this dish as preparation. I have somewhat of a weak stomach when it comes to raw stuff, so I prefer my Pho veggies slightly cooked like with the beansprouts, and I can't stress it well enough that you do not want to experience meat-related parasite/bacterial infection due to eating partially raw thick cuts of meat. Seriously.
