A cute lil print run I recently did at SNAP Gallery!

This is a 5 layer reduction print, and I made about 19 useable prints in the end. No more can be made because this style of printmaking uses only one carving block and precise machine alignment. Each inked layer requires more of the block to be carved away (working from the lightest colour to the darkest) until the whole block is destroyed. All that was left in the end was a tiny section that I used for black ink-- so; the eyeballs and a couple little beak + mug shadows!
