Not bad, i like it :)

Thanks for listening

Interesting song this :). Sounds like something I would hear in old Zelda games.
I really liked the melody throughout the song. You did a great with varying it to keep up the interest.
The quality of the orchestra is not the best IMO, but this isn't your fault.
The choice of instruments was very good though. I really liked how the main melody sounded.
I wish you would have added a "Part B" in this song as well to vary it a bit. A different part would really make this sound like a full song rather than just a video game track.

Overall a good track. You caught the Zelda feeling perfectly, and with some adjustments this could be great.
4 stars.

LexRodent responds:

Thanks for the feedback man, Zelda video games music is one of my favorites and part of my inspiration. Having a part B is a great idea I'll keep that in mind and see if I can "nail" it.

The tune makes me think of Shining Force but with a modern tune update and maybe even better graphics.

The drums, I feel could have been a little better. The little tap noise does not feel like it belongs here and seems to make the track sound a bit wonky at times.

The orchestra is pretty beautiful and sounds alright. Maybe fix up the trombone at parts so that there isn't an odd sounding lingering note at times.

Overall, not too bad, could be better though.

Thanks for the review NekoMika , I'll run another check on the drums section and see what I can do to make it better as well as the trombone. (cool new name btw)

I like the melodies and rythms, good variety of instruments, though it felt a little sad, for an anthem, but maybe that's why you go to Republic of Nowhere?
As usual, soundfounts give this videogame's touch; totally reminds me of rpgs on 2D consoles. Good!

The track has pretty good clarity, each instruments has its own space in the frequency range.
Volume wise, the snare is ok, but the drum is a little too shy...
I would give the drumkit a LITTLE more presence.
Remember when watching marching bands?
You can feel this one rumbling on the street usually.
Since it's a soundfount, you might have not much controls, but the horns full force all the time can get tiring quickly.

Hope you'll find something useful in this review for your next tracks!

LexRodent responds:

Useful indeed Man, those are good suggestions.
I will apply them to improve this track, (and future ones) as soon as I can.
The sad feel is intended, as you noticed, thanks for the feedback.
