Everything looks the same. Shitty model with a flat photo of a face. PS1 GAMES HAD GEOMETRY TOO YOU KNOW!!!
Models? All just made of the same squares.
Doors? Either nonexistent, or they just open to the other room like that. (you need the long loading screen in between rooms dummy)
Your game doesn't need too look like outside my windows, but it needs to have clarity and some sort of real modeling, like PS2-PS3 Era at least!!!
(also, F.Y.I., PS1 horror games were not first person at all and even if they were, crosshairs were basically non existant)

In an admittedly unsatisfying response, old games aren't all bad, but a good amount have not aged very well. It also doesn't help that previous generation were a lot more notorious for shovelware out in the open. I find it kind of odd that some gamers can't seem to get over that mental block, and probably know better.
