Giving them some mandibles and more glorp appendages
The idea is simple, we start out from a blank slate for a character and take turns adding and changing the design as we go along. You can take take parts of the design away also, but you gotta be able to tell that your rendition of the design is derivative of the previous one and not just a completely new character.
Below I've provided a basic character sheet to start with, but feel free to make your own sheet if you want:

The visions will help fuel your creativity and the stew will help fuel your body and mind.
Love the black sausage looking thing right in the middle of the given photo of the thing. Looks like a long turd if you squint
I tried playing a game called 14 Minesweeper Variants ages ago since it looked really similar to the premise behind a similar game I knew about called Pongs, but the variations themselves to the game weren't very compelling and at times kinda frustrating. The visuals also are very minimalistic and boring too, which make sense for being just a minesweeper game but it sure didn't help either.
damn this looks like it was so fun to work on
sad to only be hearing about it now that its finished :[

By no means am I like a very "experienced" or "professional" or "good" animator myself so maybe take my advice with a healthy grain of salt, but honestly I'd just download fire alpaca and just fuck around and figure stuff out with its animation tool. It's very rudimentary and sometimes kinda frustrating, but its also really simple to learn and use and should be plenty for a beginner to use before using something more complex
the one to take the cake would probably be Jannace here as they are one of my best character designs period, but also one of the only characters I've ever made an actually banger color palette for. they were in constant rotation for a long while also so they've got sentimental value to me on top of that
(apologies for the compressed photo, i've not drawn this one for more than a year so there aren't many good illustrations of them :pensive:)
This be the current vibe right now
Part of me wishes I could get into a game like CS:GO because my brother was really into the game he tried to get me into the game so we could both play it together, something that we rarely do. Unfortunately that style of game just doesn't work for my brain at all :(
I wouldn't happen to have a specific desk model in mind but you should totally try and get one of those desks that have a moving platform surface underneath the actual desk surface. Keeps the keyboard outta the way of the tablet which both feels better and saves on space.
In a similar boat as Galneda in that I played the game back when it was just the first overwatch and I just kinda fell off the game after playing it for a good few months. Idk many of the specifics on how blizzard have treated their employees in the past, but all the inklings I have heard completely kill any desire to wanna pick the game up again even if it's free now.
Love this thing. The creature
Depends on the type of art honestly. With drawing I usually tend to swing between feeling exhausted with the entire process and complete focus/fully able to express the ideas I wanna get across, and I can only get anything done when I'm feeling like the latter. Animating(specifically tweening) always feels good though; to my mind the process is super intuitive and never feels like a slog unless there's a ton of components or very complex motions.

If your on the google drive webpage, right click the image in your google drive -> share -> share(again), and under general access you wanna change it from "restricted" to "anyone with the link," then you hit copy link to get the url for the photo.
Bonus picture:
I've only watched one of my friends play it but Muse Dash is pretty cool, and the base game is pretty cheap even off sale.

Think we only need name and blurb now if you can't be arsed filling in everything (although finisher might help with gifs if they get one).
Send through google drive, file dump or art submission so they don't get resized.
Make sure background is transparent.

Hi hello I'd like to join this collab!
Would like to submit this homestuck oc of mine named Jambee if their design works gif wise :3
Depending on what kind of animation I'm doing I like to use either fire alpaca for frame by frame sprite animation or a combination of fire alpaca and premier pro to do the type of tween animations you could probably do in adobe animate already but I hate using animate and adobe products :P

What kind of enjoyment do you get from being tied to your desk for hours at a time daily just drawing essentially the same thing over and over again but slightly different each time? How does anyone get any kind of dopamine from doing such a boring and time consuming task??? I'm trying to rotoscope and I'm already angry just four frames in.
You might like the idea of tweening a lot better, where you just draw parts of a character and move those around with no redrawing needed! It's the approach that shows like Madness Combat use and for me personally its the perfect balance between tedious and creatively fulfilling.
Have had my own neocities site for less than 2 years now, it's probably the one project I've spent the most time on and off on.

yeah sure
not sure how it would work but an interesting idea i thinik
my art is very small in resolution so things like stray singular pixels or singular pixel shaped holes are rather bothersome. usually i catch them before posting but not always.
