Hey Newgrounds!
So I really need your help on this, because it's driving me insane; I'm looking for an animation that's about some kind of tournament or contest, and pairs are fighting in some city (or town) to kill each other. There's some kind of moderator, some dark force or something, that's running it, and there is a focus on one character where there are a couple of flashback scenes, and there's a lot of blood, and something about a teddy bear covered in blood...? (hang in with me, here, because If i remembered anything more concrete i'm sure I could have found it by now)
Anyways, there's also a pair that includes a robot of some sort, voiced by either a Scottish or Irish voice actor, who gets taken over by dark forces and starts killing people. It shows his soul trapped inside his body (or mind, i guess) in some black goo-web-stuff (and then there's some sort of evil monologue in there, I believe). Ah...yeah!! There is a scene where the robot is shown with that "split face" technique, showing the inner struggle of the character? And the he goes mad and starts killing people. ...and maybe rhyming at the same time, i think. I seem to remember something like that.
Additionally, I recall that this was a series of animations. I think it was a very short series, but there might have been 2 or 3 episodes. And the animation style was pretty smooth, and reminded me of Kreid's work with "Oddball" (although I checked, and Kreid did not make the animation I'm thinking of).
So that's about it. I really want to find out what animation this is, because I recall that (while it was very bloody and a bit disturbed) the animation looked really good and the technique used was inspiring. So help me out, Newgrounds?
