Seems to have worked. Yeah that's what I mean mostly, stating your pronouns is pointless most of the time, and sometimes just attracts the kind of attention that no one wants like some horndog dickbrain sending you pics of their junk or whatever. Like, you're on an artsite to share and enjoy art, or on a forum about sci fi movies or something like that, who cares about your gender and sex.

Maybe I'm just oldfashioned, back when I started using the internet people hardly stated their gender/sex when it wasn't relevant. Just seems to complicate things unnecessarily.

It's not really an inconsistency, her daughter lived long and died an old woman IIRC, plenty of time for her to run into the xenomorphs on Sevastopol station. I just don't find coincidences like that believable in stories, seems too contrived, it's a bit of a pet peeve of mine. Similar thing that irked me was that C3PO was made by Anakin(who'd later become Darth Vader) in the Star Wars prequels, just seems too convenient.

I really like Alien and Aliens, 3 was okay, apart from that the other movies were meh. I remember looking forward to Prometheus, it had some really cool visuals and designs(the engineers are cool) but God the writing in this movie sucked bad.

As for games, God I wish the Colonial marines game didn't suck. Alien Isolation is very cool, though for some reason it irked me a bit that you play Ripley's daughter. It's just a minor thing but it feels kinda contrived that her daughter would also run into xenomorphs like her mother, it'd made the games story a bit more believeable if the player character was a new random character not connected to Ripley. IMO anyway.
