I think Street Fighter is definitley chief among them. The only reason anyone cares about Street Fighter 1 is for historical purposes and some of the characters outside the iconic ones like Ryu, Ken and Sagat

it feels like now i worry so much about how my skill limits me and how no matter how hard i try i can never wrap my head around certain things that help improvement. this plus just seeing so much awesome art that blows me away i guess has given me a sour mood about art sometimes where i just dont really wanna draw as much anymore and i have to force myself. but at the same time this is the thing im most passionate about and wanna be able to do and want to do all the time, i just can never bring myself to because of how i feel about myself. so i sometimes wonder if i were a bit dumber and less self conscious id be able to have more pure fun drawing? i have no clue. i just wish i knew how to break out of this probably toxic outlook on art, and constant comparisons i make on myself to other people who i feel draw better/draw more and probably enjoy drawing more than i do.

ive tried going on walks and listening to music, sometimes taking a few days away from art but it feels like it always loops back to similar feelings. which sucks too because im working on a long-term passion project where i kinda need to draw to make progress on it!
