I think if someone can just look at something and say "aww that's skrunkly" it's skrunkly. Hell, someone might say every single character in current NG wallpaper is skrunkly.
But I don't it's the same as chibi. I don't think most of Sanrio characters are skrunkly, they're more of adorable than skrunkly.
Maybe it is cute yet ragged or drenched or cryptic aspect of a character that makes them skrunkly. Take Spamton G Spamton for a second. He's old, miserable, mean and fragile. People usually don't call him 'cute', 'cute' is for more flexible and bouncy characters. But most people will say that he's skrunkly.
So what im getting at is that you have a small middle aged man that speaks funny [aka mario] and thats considered a "Skrunkly", is that correct?
