Oh god, this has been so dead...

So, school started recently (well, it's actually have been 1 month but w/e), and I took art of course. The new teacher asked us to show our works, and apparently, i got "Qualified" for it (there are 6 people in total in the class, so the teacher can concentrate on different students' styles). I haven't posted my newer works, so you don't really know if what exactly i showed her. Might upload those later. I did some basic practice already (drawing basic shapes and stuff), and got the first assignment : To do a composition of any basic forms. I'll upload it later as soon as i finish it up

So, i recently started doing pixel art. Right now i'm just copying stuff into paint and editing the sprites to get the hang of it.
All of these are made by me (re-made by me that is) and transformed a bit. They are in chronological order of making:
http://i.imgur.com/Yx5mG.png (Ness from earthbound)
http://i.imgur.com/huPle.png (Ash Ketchum)
http://i.imgur.com/8hz5K.png (Megaman)
http://i.imgur.com/wYhv9.png (Samus Aran)

That's all for now ^^

anywayz, zombies in your neighborhood? what do you do? how do you survive?
I'd Grab Mah 2 Razor Swords, Find A Few Armed Survivors, & Go On A Killin' Spree!

Lol, you seriously need to read the more frequent posts. This is now for planning a worldwide outbreak realisticly, no razor sword up your ass or something. How long do you think you'd survive with just those two swords when your whole city is zombified? Swords do get stuck in the skull if you're not even skilled with them, and it requires a lot of force to chop the head of in one slice, AND you only have one go at it, while the zombie is running towards you and stumbling, falling, not doing it like a normal human would. If you manage to do that, congratulations! Now you have only 200 more zombies to kill because of all the noise the zombie and you did while fighting.

I don't know how you go about doing all of your drawings, so I can only assume you attack all of them the way you did with your slig picture. I think the first thing that I noticed, from your very first post of it, is that you didn't draw any sort of skeleton/guidelines to follow. Even if you're heavily referencing an image, it really helps to have them there. It helps you create more dynamic poses as well as take away all the second guessing you might do once you start adding in the details.

Doing this might even help you speed up the drawing process.

Great, yet another person asking to be scouted. First off, look at the scouting guide. It says that you require ATLEAST 4 pictures to be quallified fot scouting. Secondly, you must post the pictures directly in the forum, but you can add a link to the higher quality one along with the picture. Thirdly, NEVER EVER ask to be scouted. If people find your art good, they'll scout you. Asking to be scouted might lessen the chances of being scouted. And last, but not least, your art is great! Keep it up! Just try to post the pictures in the forum next time, k? Anyway, cheers and good luck!

Traveling/scavenging On foot or cycling?
Making an electricity generator - good or bad idea?
Daytime is good for traversing large spans of land but it leaves you very exposed. You do not have the cover of night to hide your movements from Zeds or other survivors. Nighttime gives you an advantage to move more freely with less chance of being detected.

Don't zed have better smell or something like that? That would make nighttime harder because they'd smell you but you won't be able to see em'. I don't really know, it wasn't in the description

Having a gun is a NECESSITY, without one you don't stand much of a chance.
Alright, i identified the laws, but the main drawback is that i can't get a gun until i'm 18 years old, OR i start taking up it as a sport. But it's to late to take it up as sport, so the only thing i can get without a license is D category weapons. The only guns worth mentioning there is:
Single shot longbarreled firearms
Revolvers (?)
Pneumatic guns, with kinetic energy between 2.5 J and 7.5 J
Gas firearms
B and C category guns, which aren't compitable with those categories for the lack of firepower and kinetic energy between 2.5 and 7.5 J
Old gun replicas, made after 1870
If i want anything better, i need a license, exams blahblahblah. Oh, and i can't hold more than 300 bullets at a time.
And yes, the laws sucks

Depends. How do you plan to make it? How loud is it? It would be a good to have electricity, but it could attract unwanted attention if not used and maintained properly.

I have an excercise bicycle, and while it runs on batteries, it generates energy while you're excercising. So i'd hook up the generator inside the bicycle to an accumulator and pedal away. It doesn't make a lot of noise, listening to music on the speakers would make more noise than it

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Alright, again about the pistol. I have a bad feeling that i won't be able to make it a zipgun. So i'm looking for an alternative. By the way, it is a Colt 1911 replica. So what i was thinking, i'd cut out the ejection port (it isn't functional on an airsoft gun, obviously) and insert an adapted mag, that would load...wood screws or whatever they're called. They look like a cross between nails and drills. Idk how to properly explain. Then the spring would be replaced with a higher power one, and the little plastic thing that ejects the BB bullets would be replaced with metal one. Best thing, if this design works, i can switch between airsoft and screw shooter anytime, and it would break really fast, AND i wouldn't have to load a new bullet every time, as i'd have to cock it and it's ready again. Just idk if the screws would do any damage or not. Right now, the gun is reaching 300 FPS (feet per second).

By the way, you didn't really answer my question about barricading in the flat. It's a third floor, so there wouldn't be an emergency exit. If i'd barricade the door, i'd have to tear the barricades apart just to leave for scavenging. I don't really know, the doors really look sturdy

I think it could have been better without bullet time for increased realism and i think it would have been awesome if we had some kind of skill trees like close combat or hacking etc like Deus ex but a little more diverse also the plot looks pretty straight forward with gta like missions so I expect atleast a decent game

You'll actually be getting the certain perks through out the story, so you won't start out with everything you've seen in the trailer gameplay. And actually in certain situations time does seem to slow down. The power of our brain. Well, it doesn't really get to the bullet time level, but it still is possible. I think the bullet time will be a nice addition, but i hope that it will be balanced. And the way you play the game isn't gta at all. The trailer could have been played so many different ways, The assassin way, the rambo way, hacking way (which was shown in the trailer) and basicly anything you can come up with. Kill the guy by shooting him down in the street, stalking him and taking him down silently in the park, ect, ect. This is nothing like gta. The only GTA thing about this game is the radar and the car-walk-free-roam kinda gamestyle

The good guy
The bad guy

From sea level, going down 16 blocks is the minimum, I believe.
Actually, diamond is only found on levels 2-17. So that's up to 17 levels above the very bottom layer of the earth, 47 blocks down from sea level (64).

Yeah, i already found that out, but the wiki actually says its 1-16, + sea level is 62. But don't judge me, that's what the wiki says.

Now, i already told you i have 0 luck, right? Well, i found 4 blocks of diamond, made a pickaxe and went out for more. Since i found some diamond, i started gathering materials for enchant table. I don't know how, but mined out some obsidian. And i didn't store it. Nor the extra diamond. Nor some books. And, when i was looking for diamond, came across another cave. I was standing on a coblestone. Which dissapeared. And beneath i was lava. Once again, lava turned into obsidian. And i died D:. Lost the pick, books, obsidian, yet another steel set, and loads of other stuff. To add the insult, after 10 minutes i found a diamon vein that was actually 1 ore across. I fricking found the min diamond ores available D: But i think karma exists, and after just 5 minutes, i found two diamond veins crossing, with 8-9 diamons total.
