The Lackadaisy Ghost Stories Halloween Event 2024 Voting ended, and I am happy to say that our entry, "A Letter to a Ghost Lover" has won FIRST PLACE!

I am just so happy as well as my team that we've won first place! I did not expect that to happen!

I already posted our entry onto YouTube.

On November 3rd, The Lackadaisy YouTube Channel will stream our entry and the second-place winning entry.

I think I will post the animation onto Newgrounds since well it is my animation, and everyone has given the thumbs up on posting it everywhere.

Im just sooo happy right now. Also for the old heads of 2021-2022, sorry that I havent posted anything that much here after the general forums were closed.

Hope you all had a good day as I did!

Currently up for grabs to take in commissions on art, and animations, maybe even some voice acting too.

I could make some animated sprites for some streamer. and I could lend in my voice for some work.

If the pay is right, then I can make it.

The only rule is that I won't make NSFW or anything too difficult to make.

You can send me donations or commission me here:

https://ko-fi.com/steveadmin

I tried with the job posting on Newgrounds, but it did not work.

Examples of what I can do:

For me, I remember my older brother told me that Mickey Mouse being in the Public domain is a bad idea because people would make him get fuck in his ears. So I’m gonna make a gore porn film of that and more. or not because I don't want to ruin my chances to work for Disney animtion.

I think I will just animate Steamboat Willie with my own style.

At 11/17/23 08:56 PM, ErasmusMagnus wrote:Half-Life, the legendary first-person shooter that won over 50 Game of the Year awards, and the reason why Steam exists, just got an update from the ever-elusive Valve. If you know their modus operandi, they tend to do whatever they're most interested in, not necessarily what the community wants, and are usually tight-lipped. So this is extremely huge. For years, Half-Life has been functional and brilliant for years, but over time, it's evident it was missing some quality-of-life updates, so some default settings were odd and a couple of details broken. It didn't really get any love but they kept it on Steam because it was common sense. People still loved it and bought it, and it basically worked.

People made a big stink about how they did basically nothing for the 20th anniversary. Off hands. Infamous for Valvetime and the HL3 meme. They work on what they want to and don't really look back. Well, guess what? They released Half-Life: Alyx. And began opening up more to the community. And today, we finally got an update. Bugfixes, quality of life, controller support, settings fixes, NEW MULTIPLAYER MAPS, previously missing obscure content added back in, really nerdy technical details fixed. Holy shit. The only time it's ever been better to be a Half-Life fan was on its release. A fucking documentary FROM INSIDE VALVE. I cannot stress how rare and unlikely this all is. Valve embodies the laissez-faire attitude through and through, and they least of all dig deep back into their old stuff.

If you're interested in old games, and you haven't already, you should absolutely play Half-Life. If you've never really gotten into video games, whether because you've never played them before, or feel like you missed out on them, or they went over your head, or weren't really interested, or successfully gelled with them... you should still absolutely play Half-Life. There's never been a better time to get into it. Least of all, because it's free.

I made an easy-to-follow crash course showing you exactly how to play Half-Life if you've never played a single video game in your life. If the premise sounds interesting, give it a looksie.

I hope something cool happens when it's Half Life 2's 20th anniversary next year.

An example is this piece right here

The reason why it looks rushed is because it is, I had sweaty hands while drawing it and it's as enjoyable as getting somw mucus stuck in your throat, as som stuff made me feel discouraged from finishing completely.

And I think someone is mass blamming my shit too.

Its a pretty common problem we have, also your art still looks good

I dont know if the help section of the forums are for showing my commissions, I havent got a new onw for two months now.

I had made it a few months ago, and for now I didnt get a commission for two months now.

If anyone wants to commission me then hit me up.

I am still an amateur on this commission stuff since I only had two so far.

You can check the commissions for some art or if you want, you can pay for some memberships, I only added those because of some current challenge Ko-fi is doing.

You can check my Newgrounds gallery if you want to see how I draw.

They may be a few years late but lets be honest, it's still ongoing to the point where everyone has been tired of whats going on through the past couple of years.
