So... Storytime videos. I've heard this is a pretty popular trend for animators who don't want to spend a year on a project. Well, I can animate! I should hop on this thing. Good stories are hard to come by though, lucky for us that's not too important in this genre!

Also side note, yes I realize the "new releases" joke at the beginning doesn't really work anymore because I just released Eye of the Terrier, but to be fair I was working on this before I knew I'd release it this soon and.... uh.. yeah. I guess I'll just have to cut my losses here.

Otherwise, yeah fairly good story time would rofl, would listen thounsad of hours worth of made up experiences, have all the family gold and land, you earned it for sure.

Fun stuff. I love the stylized blend of 2d and 3d. I really appreciate how everything is textured with a vast and expansive depth of field and deliberate focus on lighting. The meshes themselves may appear minimalist but the characters' wonderfully distorted and loosely slapped together shapes really lend to the absurdity of the entire piece. The story while intrinsically mundane was made interesting with a nonplus payload that leaned into the pedestrian nature of the event in a way that made me genuinely chuckle.
Really good stuff here. It's lighthearted but compelling and demonstrates that you'll flourish just fine as both an animator and entertainer.
