Reviews for "The Perfect Fighter"

I agree with cpe007

The idea itself is great, graphics, characters, controls are all good. But there are some huge glitches. Such as the loading page, either not loading at all, taking forever to load, or not making up it's mind about what percent it's on. If you could please fix these problems it would be a SQUILLION times better. (And I would actually get to play).

Please take this into consideration, because no matter how good a game is, after a while the glitches become too much to handle. I'm sure you can fix it!

The Perfect Fighter is far from just that.

There was obviously a lot of time and effort put in this, but it lacks is polish. The idea is really original. Making new characters almost from scratch is no easy task, and neither is coming up with new ideas for said characters without making it too obvious what characters is which. What was wrong with the game are the sane things that plagued FlashWing's other games. Good ideas and pretty graphics, but an abundance of glitches, weird choices in music, and inconsistent AI. Controls are just fine, but good luck stringing normal attacks with specials. The CPU has no trouble doing that. If all the things that are wrong with this game were fixed, then we would have a fantastic browser fighting game.

Has some promise

I don't mind reskinning Street Fighter characters, because you mix up their moves and change things enough that they're unique.

But the hit detection is really wonky ay times. The animations don't seen to have any correlation on what hits and what doesn't, and it seems like I can go from being missed by a move, to being hit, back to being missed and back to hit, all while standing about the same distance.

It's also pretty laggy. Using the supers is difficult because you never know when your moves are going to register. And even if they do, actually hitting them is a matter of pure luck because of the aforementioned range issues.

Finally, I did encounter at least one game-ending glitch, where my character disappeared after a throw.

I love this game

The moves are really good and it's obvious that you put a lot of time and effort into it and it worked out very well. It slows down my computer a lot but I can deal because I have OperaTurbo. The only thing I hate (and I do mean hate) is the fact that everytime I want to play I have to watch 30 seconds of a really bad disney show that is only funny to little kids because little kids will watch anything

Hey I found an infinite combo!

Hold forward and keep pressing weak kick =/
I don't think the game knows what combo's are...
Seriously, this would have been infinitely better if you'd have just made your own sprites rather than rip modded SFIV models.
