I love mining games like this. Thank you. The last game I enjoyed like this was the one where the at the end you fought the devil, it was all the sudden very arcade like.. ah memories.

Geez, this is one of the most complicated games I've played in awhile. It even seemed like the tutorial level was hard enough for a world in itself! Anyway, this was very nicely done with some good focus on detail. I think my favorite part is probably how colorful everything looks. It is a bit hard to really understand why you're even doing this. Even after all those instructions, I'm still kinda lost!
This is still good because it creates great atmosphere. I have done my research and said that at a certain level metal drills would indeed melt. The lowest hole we've ever dug is around seven miles deep. They couldn't go any further because the drills started to melt. Then again, these are different planets.
Hey there.
This game is really interresting and is a real time killer.
I like the way you can upgrade your equipment and can combine small materials, to make a better or bigger material.
A real material saver, when you make the repair- and fuel stations on the ship.
(Though doesn't seem realistic that they don't need materials. But then again, would be a pain to constantly use material for that)
I like that you can have equipment around with you, in case you run low on health, fuel or just blow something up.
Also made it more tricky with the gas explotions, the metal flower thingy and the others stuff that made it a bit more difficult.
Now for a bit of the sad part.
It happens sometimes when i press the play button with the newgrounds background, it goes into a loop where it changes between the newgrounds background on the gamescreen goes to the advertiesment/comercial screen and goes back to the ng background again. Then goes on and on and on. Had to try refresh or going to the previouse site and then back to the game site to make it work again.
The robot says in the start that he is lost or something and is low on stuff. But every time he goes to a new planet, there automaticaly comes some new ones and he doesn't need to refill his ship to travel to new planets? Seems a bit like he isn't runing low on anything. Keep him within the same planets.
But i can't say anything for sure yet, since i haven't played the whole thing yet. And that's when my real problem with the game comes out.
After i loaded for the 3-4 time, the whole game seems to crash. When i enter a planet, the entire game screen turns grey.
And if i try to start over with a new game, the screen freez out.
I have tried to erase all data from sites on my browser. But doesn't change anything.
This part is really something that bums me out.
Hope you find the problem. Cuz this will ruin this awesome game for other gamers too.
In case it's not something with the game. Then i'm very sorry about that i only give you 4.5 instead of 5.
Oh and i used google chrom browser.
We tried to reproduce this bug but we were not able to. However, someone said he had the same problem, and only refreshed the browser and everything was back to normal. So there was no need to clear the cache or anything like that.
Not sure if I'm mistaken, but it looks like one cannot go back to an asteroid or planet once you leave it. I was expecting to return to continue exploring once I obtained some gas from another asteroid and noticed the one I last visited was no longer on the map! Rather disappointing since I put so much time into the game. Otherwise, fun and addictive.
Went through it in one sitting.
Pros-
Graphics were great even on low on my POS machine.
Sound/Music were good and fit the mood.
Gameplay has a few issues (see cons) but overall addicting
Cons-
Upgrade system needs work, like what is possible to built upward so dont have to click down through the entire thing all the way to iron
Chased iron throughout, don't know if its a con but maybe the cost for some things may be lowered?
Always always chasing cooling tech to get deeper, dont know if con but turned into an artifact hunt before pursuing other techs.
Lacked replayability
Comments/suggestions
Look forward to part two if you have it planed exploring earth, maybe continent by continent.
The obvious re playability is building a world/cities/space-stations perhaps? Also, a tool tip to find the artifacts. example between 160-170 is where you find the last set.
Overall
Great game really, always did like mining even before the big MC. This killed 10 hours easily.
