In awe of the presentation, but still found the story to be unpleasantly mean spirited and unremarkable. I Personally think pitch dark humor only works when the story or dialogue is really clever, and I didn't really find this clever at all. Can't ignore the incredible animation and artwork though.

That was dark, and demented. A few times, it was almost predictable, but most people pull back. Your anime was predictible in the way watching a car crash i predictable. You think there will be horrible bloody carnage, but are hoping the cars will miss. But in your world, the car hit every single time, if you understand the analogy. This was beautiful as art in every way. And hilarious. Comedy Central should adopt this series to follow South Park for a bloody good time!

You had good animation and a great story, but it was all ruined by that pixel garbage.

It sucks the detail from the designs and the smoothness out of the animation.

This whole pixel fad started with making animations based out of homage to indie games and video games with 8 bit or 16 bit graphics from way back in the day.
When you combine overwhelming pixelation on complex animation and character/ background designs, they cancel each other out.

The only time its appropriate is on "Pixel Day".

On serious note though, I LOVED the flash, not only was the animation great but the whole idea is a masterpiece. It's so refreshing and unique to once see the main characters as actual, vicious, merciless villians instead of the regular 'gonna save me some princess and be praised an eternal blonde-haired hero' type. The jokes were indeed a bit stale, but that doesn't decrease the overal quality.
