There’s a summary box on the front page that links to the full list for the week. Emotes can be left up until the following Tuesday.
Found it! Thanks.
Question: My submission got a couple of reacts today even though it's Wednesday (my dudes). Is there a way to look at submissions after Tuesday, or is it a timezone thing?

We see why it's happening, basically anyone who has been logged in for over a year is getting logged out (they aren't supposed to be, the clock is supposed to get reset whenever they are active on the site but that apparently stopped resetting around this time last year). The full fix probably won't be today, I'll make a post when that's all sorted out.
Confirming that this is probably what happened. Also means that just logging back in should fix it for at least another year.

But, as I said, I don't remember Murder Drones getting a lot of attention here right away, and that's made by Glitch too
It's been two days since the pilot dropped and I've seen 2 movies and a bunch of art here within that time. Nothing special by most standards, but rarer for indie animation. Like, for example, I don't remember Murder Drones or even Lackadaisy getting that much when their pilots dropped. The best explanation I've got is that the mix of cute zany characters and dark plot is popular on Newgrounds, but does anyone else have any ideas?

Most of these are bad mods, but not what I would call overrated. You want a hot take for a overrated fnf mod? Mid-fight Masses. This one gets remembered with the same fondness as Whitty and Tricky, but who among us has actually played the original mod? Not the fan-made chart and sprite fixes, but the original, god-awful charting.

As sad as it is for Martinet to step down, at least Nintendo is making an effort to find a voice actor that can replicate the voice.
Yup, same went for Wario's voice in that WarioWare game in that Nintendo Direct. That's the one I noticed, because Wario's voice there didn't sound anything like any voice he's had before. It might even have to do with why so many Mario games before this recycled the same voice lines over and over.
Depends on the game. For me personally, slower games actually benefit from 30 FPS since it's more movie-like. Games that demand fast reflexes want high FPS, though, since it's more responsive to twitchy reactions.
But none of that matters if the FPS isn't stable. That's just bad.
It's like an eviler, greedy version of Newgrounds. 90% of everything you find is terrible, but there are gems worth your time if you look hard enough. The difference is that mobile games demand your money as well as your time, and most don't respect either.
I kinda get it. 4-5 stars is notably good, and 2-1 stars is notably bad. 3 stars is average and inoffensive, but that also means it's basic. Doesn't stand out. Boring. In its own way, that's worse than being bad. I know that doesn't feel great, but it means that your skills are good enough to build on. You just need to find your own way to stand out.
'Oh Shit' is an awful level compared to the others.
For Switch owners, having RDR on a portable system is enough of a novelty to be interesting. And no matter how old the game is, it's still better than most games released nowadays. Also, as far as I know, there isn't a lot of overlap between Nintendo fans and 'mainstream' console fans.
For PS4 owners, yeah, I get the backlash there.
I got a pretty wild take here: The best .exe games are the ones that don't describe themselves as such. For example, I'd say Doki Doki Literature Club hits all the requirements, but most people wouldn't call it an .exe game.
There is a reason professional companies have background checks as part of the hiring process. Many FNF mod teams just don't think to research the people that they hire, which allows a lot more scumbags to sneak in.
Also, this sort of thing happens a lot with larger communities anyway.
I agree with @Healmore6969. It's more likely we'll see a new Mario RPG series than them trying to repair the reputations of their existing series at this point.
Murloc RPG is the only RPG with an anthro "frog" that I know of.
The bane of my childhood was the final race from Diddy Kong Racing. Took me a good week to beat it.
Personally, I don't want to use them unless I am just totally stuck on something, or once I've found everything I can and want to look for anything I missed. Seems like the healthiest way to do things.
I struggle with something like this too. For me personally, my voice in a recording sounds completely different from what I hear coming out of my own mouth, so it's hard to gauge what putting on a 'voice' would actually do for my voice. Ultimately, I decided that if other people aren't complaining about my voice, it's probably fine, even if I still think it sounds weird.

While it definitely looks like a fever dream, it's such a nice breath of fresh air for the 2D Mario game series. 60 bucks reflecting the quality of a product is subjective of course. It is much more worth the 60 bucks than let's say Mario Strikers Battle League. To me 60 bucks for a game would mean I enjoy it for at least 60 hours (so 1 buck for 1 hour of enjoyment).
Wow, that’s a really smart way to buy games! Plus, you can actually see how many hours you have spent on a game. Looks like I’ve made some good purchases
Dunno if I agree with that. Some games are long, but awful to play, and others are short, but make every moment count. Wonder definitely seems like the latter to me.
For some reason, I am obsessed with an indie game called Blue Fire. It's sort of a mix of A Hat in Time's platforming, Hollow Knight's atmosphere and combat, and Zelda's exploration and puzzles. It's stiff and janky and I feel like it shouldn't be as compelling as it is to me, but I keep coming back to it for some reason I can't explain. Maybe someone else can figure it out.
I only played the original back on the Wii virtual console, and still freaked out.
On a side note, every big remake Nintendo has done so far has had some big new feature. Link's Awakening had the custom dungeons, and Kirby's Return to Dream Land had the epilogue chapter. This one is almost definitely going to have something like that too.
I knew I was a fan of 2D Mario, but I didn't remember how much of a fan I was until I saw Wonder. Super Mario RPG remake was also an awesome sight.
Aside from those, not a lot that caught my eye.
I tried looking around, but I couldn't find that exact type of game. I did find a couple alternatives, but they're probably not what you're looking for.
If you're looking for a strategy game in a fantasy setting, there's Feudalism and it's sequels, but it's not a grid-based style.
If you're looking for the turn-based strategy side of things, I found a game called Guncho that does some cool stuff. However, this one is wild west style, not fantasy.
A lot of old games are inaccessible due to the Flash purge, but I'll look around and see if I can't find any more that I can play.
Weirdly, Super Smash Bros. I've played those games my whole life and I'm at my most comfortable playing them.
My main concern is how in the world 2D sonic is supposed to handle 4 player co-op. Those games can barely handle 2 at the best of times, so unless they slowed sonic to a crawl, I can't see how it would work.
Lore-wise they seem pretty evenly matched. Gameplay wise V1 stomps DoomSlayer. It just has so many more options to do crazy stuff.
The Hollow Knight community has recently gone collectively mad waiting for Silksong.
There's so many, but I think I would go with Armed With Wings 3.
That's a really hard one. If I went with my gut pick, it would be the most recent one I did, the final battle from Tears of the Kingdom. It's an incredible finale for sure, but I feel like that's got to be the new game hype taking over my brain. I'll just run over some possibilities from different eras of my life.
I blame Majora from Majora's Mask for my love of Eldritch Horror. It's such a bizarre and eerie foe. The fight is also extremely varied.
Skies of Arcadia has a lot of great fights, but I think the one that sticks out the most is the finale. The ship combat phase of that fight was easily the hardest thing I dealt with, and it felt incredible to beat it after countless tries.
Artorias from Dark Souls is another really fun and challenging fight. Very emotional too, since I actually pored through enough lore to know who he was.
Ninetails from Okami is a fight I remember making an extra file for just so I could experience that fight again and again. It's an extremely fun one.
Hades from Hades, though it might just be because of how fun Hades is to play (both the game and the fight). Since it's a roguelike, you never fight the guy the same way twice, and the fight evolves across multiple playthroughs and difficulty tweaks.
