i think that ms paint art looks good as long as you can paint. people drag on it because it is used by a lot of beginners

I absolutely LOVE MSpaint. Because its so simple It feels super freeing to use because you only have simple tools and thats it. Just draw. I love using it for sketching when I'm bored or getting an idea out when I dont want to go all out.

Honestly, once you get to know it, it's pretty good. IMO, it's only downsides are that opacity and layers aren't a thing. It feels like a fun challenge for me to use, yet it's still pretty simplistic, so it's pretty easy to get the hang of. In some cases, I would say it adds to my art style rather than retracting from it.

idk what Microsoft is doing, but whatever Windows 11 updates they put out, it's fucking with older versions of mspaint. Each time you try to fill in a single pixel with the bucket tool, like Windows Vista mspaint which is what I use, it creates a horizontal line that ruins drawings. It's a really annoying glitch and I don't know why it's causing it. This isn't a problem in Windows 11 version of mspaint, which I assume most people are using here, but I don't use it much and it's an entirely different program compared to classic versions of mspaint.
