I posted this to Imgur under the title "I Made a Boomer Comic." They didn't seem to like that.
I'm thinking I'll make up to 25 of these but maybe more depending on how much interest there is in these comics.
Yeah, I know. Tarantulas don't use webs like that.
I made a collage with the doodles in my notebook from the 2-month course I just finished.
Includes @MateoR2 's Happy Boi.
I drew cones. They are generally social outcasts, struggle to get along with spheres, and be of use to the cubes.
Today, my goal was to try and digitally process this image into something that looked decent.
I tried Krita which I really had not used before. I'm surprised I couldn't find a dodge or burn tool.
While my lines are cleaner they seem still wobbly.
Of course, it probably doesn't help that my drawing tablet is 7.5'' x 6''.
I also gave Inkscape a try...
,,,and ended up with something that looked like it was out of a geometry textbook from the 2000s.
Finally, I returned to good old Graphics Gale.
Hard to say which one I liked the best, can't say I particularly liked any of them.
(Not mine)
This is more like what I would like to shoot for:
This atrocity was my second attempt to use Krita for art. It took me over an hour.
It's Mamin9k's OC
I concealed much of my artistic incompetence by doing a few things with it in GIMP - specifically scale it down so there's less of it.
i neglected to check the deadline before making something for this ugly cat collab:

I think I'll call this Nathaniel.
It's been a long time since I made stickers.
Special thanks to
and
for giving me permission to use their skibidi toilets.
I made a new post to the OC thread. It's SomeDoodles' Hanukkah man.
I am aware that he looks like one of the worms for the game "Worms"
I didn't use a reference so I don't remember exactly what he looks like.
My main takeaway from this video:
Mastering art is one thing, implementing those skills to produce something worthwhile is another.
If you don't produce work based on quality ideas then you are no different than an A.I.
The key to competing with A.I. is therefore heart.
Once again, I spent an inordinate amount of time in Inkscape making something.
Had this idea in my head for a while now. Glad to get it out.
This was drawn for the "Draw my OC" Thread
These OCs belong to:
Carcitypilot31 - Avery Humberfloob (Yellow Guy)
Pammeenevaeh - Poppy (Lady Bug)
On a discord server, some lady posted a sculpture of a teddy bear with a heart hanging in a hole in its middle. It inspired this.
I designed a sticker but won't be turning it into a sticker because it would do a more harm than good.
Based on a random idea that popped into my head. Made this into stickers for my nieces and nephew.
Recently got myself a Cricut Explore 3. Hopefully this will save a huge amount of time cutting out stickers.
I've started looking into learning music theory since my art and coding skills are at least passable for making games people would like. If I could learn to make basic music I could be a one-man game development team. The following is a mnemonic story to remember the sequence of rests.
