Reminds me of Spore
It reminds me of the cell stage in Spore, but other than that it was an alright game.

microscopic germs
took a while to get used to but fun
Fun, but...
This game is not really laptop friendly. Also, enemies can go off screen when you cannot. This gets bothersome when they go off, then a protein appears near the border, and they just popup and get it, often prolonging the level. If that were fixed, it would be perfect.
Oh okay I see what you mean. Thanks for pointing that out. If we ever do anything else with this game we'll keep that in mind. Thank you!
Boring but addictive.
if you know what i mean?
Nice little game.
Very cool, nice graphics, and games about amoebae are always cool. The gameplay does lack a certain depth, however, but as a simple time killer it's very good.
There are a few significant problems which drag the game down, though. Firstly, the controls. Mouse movement felt just a little hyper-reactive and unwieldy, something like the ability to press a button in order to stop or something like that would have helped. It was very difficult to use the powerups, since moving your mouse over there would drag your amoeba along with it - sure you could use the number keys, but since you had to stop and count in order to figure out which powerup was which number, there was little point. You should have at least written down the numbers beside each powerup.
There was also no incentive to multiply at all. You were much better off gaining size and taking on the enemy on your own. Maybe if you didn't lose so much size when multiplying...
